Smith gets taken out.....

The race came to an early disappointing end for Bradley Smith as he was hit by another rider on the second lap. As a result, the Brit once again had no chance to show his true potential on Ten Kate Racing’s Yamaha YZF-R6.
Bradley Smith:
“It’s a disappointing way to finish the weekend. The guys did a fantastic job, they improved the bike and I had a good feeling in warm-up. I showed that I improved my pace with half a second so I was looking forward to a good race, unfortunately I was taken out by another rider. I would like to thank everyone at Ten Kate for giving me this opportunity, the team has been great to work with. It is clear to see why they are world champions and fighting for this year’s title again, it’s been great to be part of it this weekend.”
Kervin Bos – Ten Kate Racing Team Manager:
“We are extremely disappointed what happened with Bradley. He had a great pace and we were expecting him to be able to fight between P5 and P7. I feel sorry for him that he was taken out in the second lap, it was completely unnecessary. Overall it was a solid debut for Bradley, he showed that the speed is there and he has a lot of knowledge.”
