Bradley determined to extend podium run

The 125cc teams and riders head from Tokyo to Kuala Lumpur this week for the second of three consecutive races - a 5,000km journey for a race at a 5km track, the vast Sepang International Circuit. Its long straights and fast corners are not the biggest challenge for the riders, however, with the intense heat humidity making this one of the toughest races of the season. It should make for the scene of another high octane battle as Nico Terol, Marc Márquez and Pol Espargaró fight it out for the title.
Bancaja Aspar rider Terol remains in control, having maintained the lead he secured in Aragon with a solid second place in Japan last Sunday. The Sepang layout is well suited to his riding style and the Spaniard is determined to use it to extend his current six-point lead at the top of the championship. Bradley Smith is hitting some late form and after back to back third place finishes he is hoping to take another step forward in the four races that remain and enter the battle for victories.
Bradley Smith: "Sepang is a circuit full of long straights and that means we will have to do a good job on the engine to get a good set-up. I am sure it will be a tough weekend as always because of the conditions but I train hard throughout the year to make sure this is not a handicap for me. I have always been fast at Sepang and I have finished second here for the past two years so I want to be fighting for the win this time. I have been close to the front two in the last two races and my feeling with the Aprilia gets better and better so now is the time to make it count in the race."
